Microblading
FAQ

WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
Microblading is a manual method of permanent cosmetics for your eyebrows, which creates extremely fine natural looking hair strokes. The results are perfectly natural looking, thick, full brows.

HOW LONG DOES MICROBLADING LAST?
Depending on your skin type and after care, the pigment will fade slowly over 12-36 months. On average, you should expect to do a yearly touch up.

IS MICROBLADING PAINFUL?
The service can be a little uncomfortable for those who are more sensitive. However, there is an anesthetic applied during before and during procedure to keep discomfort to a minimum. It is completely tolerable.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The pigment is bladed just below the epidermis and the most shallow part of the dermis, making extremely fine natural looking hair strokes. A very natural result is achieved, as the hairs are bladed into the skin according to the natural hair growth direction. A touch up is needed 4-6 weeks after your initial treatment. It must be done within 30-60 days of the 1st session.

HOW LONG DOES THE SERVICE LAST?
The appointment should take about two hours.

HOW LONG DOES HEALING NORMALLY TAKE?
Healing time vary from person to person. Normally it takes around 7-10 days after microblading.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I COME IN FOR TOUCH UPS?We suggest that if you want to maintain your brows so that they always looks their best, plan on scheduling a touch up once every 12-18 Months.

FAQ

WHAT IS MICROSHADING?
This is a combination brow of Microblading (Hair strokes), and shading (powdery look). Microblading adds a natural look to the brows by creating hair strokes.Powder brows are meant to create powder look much like applying powder makeup.

HOW LONG DOES MICROSHADING LAST?
Since microblading pigments are not implanted into the skin as deep as traditional tattoos, the area will naturally fade overtime. Microblading typically lasts 1-3 years, depending on skin type (normal, oily, dry), age (youthful/mature). Skincare routine will also affect the lasting effect of the pigment: patients who tan, have oily skin, or uses products with AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) or Glycolic Acid with fade faster as your skin will resurface faster. Each individual's color retention within the skin will vary. To maintain the brows looking fresh, a touch up is suggested every 12-18 months. Clients can let the microbladed area fade over time, but please note a slight shadow may remain.

EYELINER
FAQ

WHAT IS PERMANENT EYELINER?
Permanent Eyeliner frames the eyes and can make eyelashes appear thicker, darker and fuller. It eliminates the need to apply eyeliner with (makeup) pencil or liquid eyeliner. It can enhance the shape or balance the symmetry of an individual eyes, create the illusion of larger eyes, or affect how the spacing of the eyes is perceived. Permanent Eyeliner can also enhance or intensify eye color and make eyes appear brighter.

HOW LONG DOES PERMANENT EYELINER LAST?
Permanent Eyeliner is a cosmetic tattoo. The pigment will fade over time and we recommend Touch-Up to keep them looking their best. There is no guarantee in how long it lasts as each individual has very different skin and lifestyle.

IS EYELINER PAINFUL?
The eyeliner or lash line procedure is more psychologically scary to most clients than anything else. The discomfort is relative as everyone has a different level of sensitivity. An pre-numbing anesthetic is applied to the eyelids for numbing prior and during the procedure. Every effort is made to ensure you remain comfortable for the duration of the procedure.

HOW LONG DOES THE SERVICE LAST?
The appointment should take about two and a half hours.

HOW WILL I LOOK IMMEDIATELY AFTER?
There will be swelling. The swelling starts going down right away and in most people, it is back to normal by the following morning. The color will appear darker the first week. This will gradually lighten during the complete healing process. No need to go into hiding :) Swelling is minimal in the first 24 hours.

IF I AM USING A LASH ENHANCING SERUM SIMILAR TO LASH BOOST OF LATISSE, CAN I STILL HAVE PERMANENT EYELINER DONE?
Not unless you have stopped using it at least 4-6 weeks prior to your permanent eyeliner procedure. The reason is that those types of serums are very harsh on the eyelids and make your lids quite fragile for cosmetic tattooing. As a result, your eyelids will bleed and bruise.   After your eyeliner procedure is completed, you should wait 2-4 weeks to start your serum usage again.

How long does Permanent Eyeliner last?

WHAT IS COLOR CORRECTION?
Color correction is for anyone that has any kind of previous permanent makeup on the brows. Color may have faded gradually as desired, or faded and left with an unwanted color such as pink, blue, grey, etc.

CAN MY BROWS BE RESHAPED?
In some cases, previous permanent makeup can be reshaped. However, there is the possibility of needing removal before any new color work is done.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO DO MICROBLADING OVER PREVIOUS WORK?
In most cases, it is not possible to have the desired result of microblading (hair strokes only) on top of previous shading. In some cases, MicroShading is possible depending on the placement of the remaining pigment.

IS MICROSHADING PAINFUL?

HOW LONG DOES THE CONSULT LAST?
The consult will last roughly 30 minutes. We will examine:
